My Dutch friends are teaching me their biking ways. We used our free day to bike to Garden of the Gods, just a few rolling hills away from Glen Eyrie.

mate in manitou
After our trip to Pike's Peak we stopped to eat lunch in Manitou Springs. Some of us ventured into a mate cafe, which was a very new experience for most. We embraced our hippie.

GSP Olympics
We've got faces as fierce as lions and are swift as gazelles on the mountaintops. Don't mess.

the ladies of aspen
All of the girls stay in Aspen Manor. Here's a peak into some of our bonding experiences thus far:
most of the girls had never had cookie dough before.
no bonding like hair bonding.

monica goes west
I've got my Chacos packed and I'm headed for Colorado! This summer (potentially my LAST summer) I am participating in a training program with the Navigators (remember Dollywood?) along with a bunch of other students from all over the world. I get to learn more about Jesus while enjoying the Rockies and making really cool friends. They are even letting me do kitchen duty! Okay, so that part is maybe not the most alluring, but I do hear I get my own chef's hat and apron. Glen Eyrie, here I come!
Pictures to come!
